Terms of Service

By purchasing a ticket to Sail La Vie, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to be enforceable and protect against chargebacks or refund requests through Stripe or any other payment platform.

1. Payment and Refund Policy

- All sales are final. Due to the nature of the event, all payments are non-refundable, including but not limited to cases of no-shows, event delays, or changes.

- The only condition under which a refund will be issued is if the event is cancelled and not rescheduled by December 1, 2025. If the event is rescheduled, no refunds will be provided.

- No refunds will be issued once payment has been processed, regardless of personal circumstances, such as illness, changes in availability, or travel disruptions.

- By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that your spot at the event is guaranteed, and the funds become non-reversible once the transaction is completed.

2. Chargeback Policy

- By completing your purchase, you explicitly agree not to initiate any chargebacks or disputes with your payment provider regarding the transaction.

- In the event of a dispute, you agree to resolve any issues directly with Sail La Vie event organizers before initiating any chargeback process with your bank or card issuer.

- Any chargeback attempts will be subject to legal action and collection processes to recover the ticket cost and any associated fees.

3. Event Participation

- In the event of unforeseen circumstances requiring Sail La Vie to cancel or significantly change the event date, alternatives such as rescheduling will be offered. Refunds will only be issued if the event is cancelled and not rescheduled by December 1, 2025.

- You must arrive on time for the event. Late arrivals will not be refunded or rescheduled, and failure to attend does not entitle you to a refund.

- By attending the event, you agree to abide by all safety and participation rules set forth by the organizers.

- Sail La Vie reserves the right to refuse service to individuals for inappropriate behavior or failure to comply with event rules, with no refund issued.

5. Liability Waiver

- By participating in the event, you accept full responsibility for your safety and well-being during the event. Sail La Vie and its organizers are not liable for any personal injury, lost or stolen items, or damages.

- You will be required to sign a waiver before participating, and failure to do so will result in denied entry with no refund.

6. Dispute Resolution

You agree that any disputes regarding these terms shall be resolved directly with Sail La Vie organizers. You waive your right to escalate matters through third-party dispute processes, including initiating chargebacks with your bank or credit card provider.

7. Legal Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any legal disputes arising from this agreement will be resolved in Miami, Florida.

Acknowledgment

By purchasing a ticket and attending Sail La Vie Black Yacht Day, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms of Service. These terms are binding, and you waive your right to pursue chargebacks or refunds.
